The biggest hurdle that most AEC professionals face in their quest to become successful managers is a lack of confidence. As a manager in the AEC world, you’ll need to make important decisions, present in front of stakeholders, and lead by example. To do these things in a powerful way, you’ll need to be confident in your knowledge and abilities, and not just sometimes, all of the time 

In this session, you’ll be given specific actions that you can take on a daily basis to build your confidence, which in turn will dramatically increase your ability to succeed as a manager. This ability to feel certain in your capabilities will define your success as a manager, and this session will help you take control of that.

The participants will learn:

•How to use communication as an avenue to show confidence

•The importance of how technical knowledge plays in confidence building

•How confidence can help managers know when and when not to get involved

•How to be assertive in your daily interactions
