Who:    Dennis M. Oates, Chairman, President, and CEO of Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. 
Dennis M. Oates has been in the metals industry since 1974.  He was named President and COO of Lukens’ General Industries Group in 1988.  From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Oates served as Senior Vice President of the Specialty Alloys Operations of Carpenter Technology Corporation, where he led their $1.5 billion specialty steel manufacturing operations.  He currently sits on the Board of the Specialty Steel Institute of North America.  Mr. Oates holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Temple University. 
 

What:   “Management and Leadership Skills for Young Engineers”
There has been strong interest in the YMF to hold a seminar on management and leadership topics.  This presentation will focus on management skills in a technical workplace for young engineers.
