The outreach committee is seeking geotechnical engineers/geologists to help with the ACE Mentoring Session.  They are expecting 30 to 35 high school students split into 7 groups.  It would be nice to have at least one person with geotechnical experience with each group of students so that their questions can be answered quickly.  They will work through a problem after a small presentation and demonstration/hands-on activity that we will facilitate at the start of the session.

Even if you are not available on November 20th, the Educational Outreach Calendar includes several opportunities throughout the year (visits to area high schools and student groups, Engineer’s Week and other Science Center events, etc.).
