ASCE Pittsburgh Section Awards
2011 SECTION AWARD NOMINATIONS DUE DECEMBER 31
Once a year, we look to recognize the hard work, talent and dedication we often take for granted exhibited by our members and associates. The Annual Awards Banquet is just around the corner and we have the opportunity to recognize our members, business associates, clients and companies for their outstanding achievements and accomplishments in civil engineering. The Awards Banquet will be held during Engineer’s Week in February 2012 and we encourage each of you to take a moment to consider at least one candidate for a 2011 Award. Help us recognize individuals and organizations that represent excellence in our civil engineering community.
Nominations for ASCE Pittsburgh Section Awards are due by the end of December, with winners to be recognized at the Awards Banquet.
Nominations are accepted in the following categories:
- Civil Engineer of the Year
- Young Civil Engineer of the Year
- Civil Engineering Achievement
- Professor of the Year
- Service to People
- Employer Recognition
- Journalism
- Distinguished Civil Engineer of the Year
- Zone 1 Government Engineer of the Year
- Award of Merit Michael A. Gross Meritorious
- Service to the Pittsburgh Section
