Call for 2016 Award Nominations
It’s the end of the year and time to acknowledge and celebrate the best people and achievements in our industry. We all know a Civil Engineer or a professor who has accomplished great things over this past year, and projects delivered that are highly regarded for their innovation, sustainability, and/or the positive change they have brought into our world. Therefore, please consider nominating them for one of our ASCE Pittsburgh Section Awards to be presented in late February 2017 as part of our Engineers' Week celebration! Potential categories are as follows:
- Civil Engineer of the Year
- Young Civil Engineer of the Year
- Professor of the Year
- Government Engineer of the Year
- Distinguished Civil Engineer
- Meritorious Service to the Pittsburgh Section
- Service to People
- Employer Recognition Award
- Civil Engineering Achievement Award
- Award of Merit
- Civil Engineering Sustainability Award
- Journalism Award
Nominations are now being accepted, and can be sent to Kemal.email@example.com, along with any questions you may have regarding the nomination process. The nominations should follow the requirements set forth in ASCE Pittsburgh Section Selection Criteria. Selection criteria for each award is available by clicking on the award category below. All Nominations must be received by January 9, 2017.
